Lead Engineer - Contact Center (Genesys Cloud)
Lead Engineer responsible for formulating and defining specifications for highly complex operating software programming applications in contact center using Genesys Cloud.
This position reports into Contact Center & Voice, Lead and is based at Kenvue Solutions India.

What You Will Do
The Lead Engineer - Contact Center (Genesys Cloud) is responsible for designing, developing, integrating, and testing software solutions for the system. You will research emerging technologies and provide guidance to lower level associates within the team while ensuring key commitments and milestones are delivered on time.:
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the development and implementation of Contact Center solutions using Genesys Cloud technology
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful delivery of Contact Center projects
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior engineers
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies to continuously improve Contact Center solutions
- Contribute to the design and architecture of Contact Center solutions to ensure scalability and reliability
- Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
- Design and develop highly complex software solutions for the Contact Center using engineering releases and utilities from the manufacturer
- Evaluate available options and implement the best course of action to ensure deliverables are on time and within budget
- Research emerging technologies and become a subject matter expert in the area of Contact Center engineering
- Develop project plans and schedules to ensure deliverables are on time and within budget
- Identify and manage internal and external resources to support assigned projects
- Provide guidance and oversight to contract employees for day-to-day assignments
- Interface with suppliers and vendors to make recommendations on hardware/software
- Provide coaching and guidance to lower level associates within the team
- Act as a key liaison with internal and external business partners to ensure that key commitments and milestones are delivered on time
- Lead and mentor multidisciplinary teams across business
What We Are Looking For
Required Qualifications
- 6-8 years of experience in Contact Center engineering
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related field
- Strong understanding of Genesys Cloud architecture and functionality
- Experience with programming languages such as Java, Python, or JavaScript.
- Expertise in Genesys Cloud and related technologies.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Experience in designing and developing highly complex software solutions
- Strong project management skills to ensure deliverables are on time and within budget
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills to achieve business strategy
- Ability to provide technical consultation and leadership to multidisciplinary teams
- Experience in coaching and guiding lower level associates within the team
- Ability to identify and manage internal and external resources to support assigned projects
