Job description

IRDA approved Direct Insurance Broker is looking for an Insurance Manager who will be responsible for implementing marketing campaigns to promote insurance products.

Job Responsibilities:

To develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for the insurance product portfolio.

Identify market trends, customer needs, and competitive landscape to drive product development initiatives.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including underwriting, marketing, and technology, to bring new insurance products to market.

Work closely with underwriting teams to establish risk assessment criteria for insurance products.

Collaborate with distribution channels, such as agents and brokers, to optimize the reach and effectiveness of insurance product distribution and to maintain strong relationships with distribution partners.

Ensure that all insurance products comply with relevant regulatory requirements.

Collaborate with legal and compliance teams to address regulatory concerns and implement necessary changes.

Develop and manage budgets related to insurance product development and management.

Work closely with internal stakeholders, including sales, marketing, and customer service teams, to ensure effective product positioning and promotion.

Qualifications:

• Bachelors degree in business, finance, or a related field. Advanced degree or insurance-related certifications are advantageous.
• Proven experience in insurance product management with a strong understanding of insurance markets.
• Knowledge of insurance regulations and compliance requirements.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Preferable should be qualified Insurance marketing certification

Experience: 5-6 years of relevant experience in the insurance industry, with a focus on product development and management.
