Job description
Social Media Executive
will work on the Company’s Portfolio of Brands for their Social Media and Digital Strategy, curating content for brands across social media platforms, developing brand awareness, generating inbound traffic and creating engagement/ conversations. Determine Social Media strategy throughout the Scroll Mantra brands portfolio and champion delivery of the agreed strategy throughout. Drive online as the channel of choice taking full responsibility for all online content. PRINCIPLE RESPONSIBILITIES: Monitor the social media channels Assist with the planning of marketing strategies to help drive traffic and engagement to the website. Produce content for social media channels such as Meta, Instagram, Twitter, Google + and Pinterest. Keep up to date with any social media trends. Track social media influencers. Ensure you produce a consistent brand message across all the social media channels. Regularly monitor competitor social media sites and create competitor analysis reports. Contribute to the company blog on a weekly basis. Assist with social media performance reports. Engage with social media users and respond to any mentions over Twitter, Facebook, Google + and Pinterest. Assist with general day to day administration tasks. ATTITUDE AND WORKING STYLE: Passionate, Creative, Energetic, Hard Working Result orientated and ability to meet deadlines Ability to structure and organize a work environment Should be willing to work for start ups and grow with the company KNOWLEDGE SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE: Work experience of –1- 2 years in all Social Media Marketing experience on all major social media platforms – LinkedIn, Twitter, Facebook, Google+, YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram and SlideShare Excellent written and verbal communication skills and knowledge of communication best practice BA degree in Business, English, Journalism, Media or a similar subject (or relevant experience) A passion for all things digital Experience in building social media communities and general marketing experience Good written skills and an eye for detail Strong team player Extremely organized Previous experience in blogging Strong communication and inter-personal skillsJob tags
