Job Title: IT Risk & Compliance Operations Lead (Associate Director)

Introduction to role:
Are you ready to take on a role that will ensure quality is maintained in the IT risk process? As the IT Risk & Compliance Associate Director – IT Risk Operations, you will be responsible for delivering centralised risk operations services in support of the IT Risk and Compliance service lines. You will support the BTG and C4E Risk Partners in the facilitation of risk identification workshops, and the ongoing documentation and management of risks in the IT risk register system (OneGRC). This role will also involve technical development of risk reporting dashboards and summaries, as well as line managing a team of resources who will work across the IT Risk and Compliance service lines. 

Accountabilities:
As the IT Risk & Compliance Operations Lead, you will be responsible for ensuring risk register entries are in line with required quality and that all aspects of the IT Risk Process are followed by end users. You will develop and implement risk insights reporting in line with demand from other IT R&C leads. You will also work with the Strategy, Governance & Transformation and Assurance lead to development key risk and key control indicator dashboards. Additionally, you will manage a team of IT Risk Managers and Associates, ensuring their continued development and coaching the team for high performance.

Essential Skills/Experience:
- BA/BSc and extensive experience in IT risk management and/or compliance application in large IT organisations
- 10+ years of experience in IT risk and controls assurance and/or advisory
- Experience of running operational teams, delivering to strict deadlines with high quality output 
- Experience of operating at senior levels across functions and geographies in large, complex and sometimes uncertain IT environments
- Excellent consulting and business engagement experience
- Experience of analysing complex data and turning this into meaningful and actionable insights 
- Experience of data extraction/transformation/load processes and data visualisation development
- Experience of line managing and developing junior staff.
- Proven challenge, negotiation & influencing capabilities
- Strong change management leadership
- Strong collaboration and relationship building skill
- Technical data analysis and visualisation skills
- Line management and performance development

Desirable Skills/Experience:
- Broad IT management experience including project or service management
- Familiarity with technical concepts in infrastructure or applications 
- Experience of the pharmaceutical industry
- External qualifications such as ISPE PCC CPIP and ISACA CISM, CISA or CRISC. 
- Strong working knowledge of industry good practice and standards such as ISO 9000, ISO 27002, CMMI, GAMP, GxP, ITIL, S404 Sarbanes Oxley
