Job description
Implement and support the full lifecycle of network infrastructure.
- Configure and troubleshoot protocols including TCP/IP, IPv4/v6, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, SD WAN and FTTH.
- Troubleshoot and implement BGP, EIGRP, MPLS, and P2P links between multiple locations.
- Configure switch interfaces and VLANs for new lease line circuits.
- Configure ACLs and VLANs for different departments.
- Configuration and troubleshooting of Firewall for security, web, application and VPN.
- Manage various network devices from Cisco, Juniper, Brocade and Fortinet.
- Configure and maintain server applications on Linux platforms such as CentOS, Debian, Fedora, and Ubuntu.
- Prevent DoS or DDoS attacks by configuring and managing Check Point, Juniper, Fortinet and Cisco Firewalls.
- Coordinate with different service providers for uplink uptimes.
- Plan and implement new POP locations setup with technologies including Ethernet, Fiber, and Wireless Radio.
- Prepare daily and monthly reports for the uptime of data links.
- Work as part of the Networks team responsible for backbone operations and corporate customer support.
- Maintain uptime for corporate customers and backbone network.
- Provide cost-effective solutions including versatile hybrid network topologies.
Who should apply
- Bachelors degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field.
- Min 15 years of experience as a Network Administrator or similar role.
- Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, JNCIA, JNCIP, Fortinet NSE, etc, are a plus.
- Strong understanding of network protocols such as TCP/IP, IPv4/v6, RIP, OSPF, BGP, MPLS, SD WAN, MCN, and FTTH.
- Experience in configuring and troubleshooting Firewalls for security, web, application, and VPN.
- Hands-on experience with Linux server applications and NAS.
- Familiarity with cloud-based web firewall services.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work in a team and independently.
