Job description
The Reservation Manager is responsible for room revenue maximization, the key responsibility of the Reservation manager is to improve room occupancy figures. They have to manage bookings and keep accurate records to ensure that all rooms are filled whenever possible. Manages day-to-day activities related to the revenue and reservation function with a focus on building long-term, value-based customer relationships that enable achievement of hotel sales objectives, to develop strategies to maximize revpar, and profitability and grow market share.
- Responsible for room revenue maximization.
- Assists the DOR to ensure RevPar Leadership with consistent ADR increase thereby ensuring the highest EBITDA for the hotel.
- Drives Revenue through the selling and up-selling of reservations, room types, and additional items.
- Provides qualitative customer service on every call.
- Answers customer inquiries, providing professional assistance to potential and existing guests on every call.
- Prepares daily reports like Business on Books, cancellation and creation report, VIP Arrival.
- Upsells products and accommodation whenever possible.
- Prepares accurate input of all data required to complete the transaction.
- Generate revenue reports for revenue analysis every month.
- Guides the reservation team for effective inventory management to optimize room category revenue generation.
- Ensures prompt & accurate reverts for all room-related queries.
