Job description
As IBMi Developer - should be an individual contributor on his own.
Apply innovation and creativity to development process and problem-solving.
Provide adequate and proactive support in design/development.
Exposure to Legacy modernization application development
Technical Skills:
= 9 years IBMi/AS 400 Skills
IDE: Rational Developer for IBMi (RDi)
Programming Languages: RPG IV, RPGLE , RPGSQL, CL
Exposure to Legacy modernization application development
Exposure to ROBOT Job Scheduler, IBM Client Access, MKS Implementer Change Management Tool
Additional Skills:
Basic understanding of Java/J2EE technologies,
Basic understanding of messaging technologies (JMS, Webservices)
Process Skills:
Excellent verbal/written communication skills.
Ability to work with others in a team environment.
Ability to work on aggressive schedules, may require occasional work beyond normal hours (weekends or evenings)
