As an advanced-level technical contributor, you’ll navigate extensive network complexity, specializing in multiple Audio Video (AV) and Event technology areas. Your responsibilities extend to designing, building, and troubleshooting AV systems, conference room designs, and driving on-site as well as remote events company-wide.
In this role, your expertise will drive the success of complex AV and Event projects, ensuring seamless integration and unparalleled technical support for company-wide events.
Bachelor's Degree required and/or 10 years of related experience.
Knowledge of LAN/WAN networking, TCP/IP, DNS, AD, DHCP, routing, switching, workstations, operating systems, and applications data flows.
High-speed Data Center connectivity: DWDM, lit/unlit fiber, carrier hotels.
Familiarity with virtualization: VMware, Xen, Virtuoso
Excellent verbal and written communication skills are a must.
Excellent customer service skills
Prioritizes and performs a variety of concurrent tasks with minimal direction or supervision.
Ability to have constructive debates to reach the best outcome for Intuit.
Can overcome obstacles and develop a partnership.
Mastery: Proficient in video and audio signal flows, current AV, and event technologies.
Event Setup: Advanced knowledge of event setup using industry-proven technologies.
Troubleshooting Skills: Proficient in advanced AV troubleshooting skills, methodologies, and use of diagnostic tools.
OSI Model: Solid knowledge of the OSI model with expertise in layers 1 through 7.
Standards and Protocols: Experienced working knowledge of AV standards and signal protocols.
System Designs: Advanced knowledge and experience in developing event and AV system designs with associated hardware and software.
Broad Expertise: Broad knowledge of current AV methodologies, designs, and troubleshooting techniques.
Advanced Technical Expertise: Tackle complex problems, evaluating both identifiable and intangible variables, showcasing mastery in video and audio signal flows.
Subject Matter Expertise: Lead designs, project management, and troubleshooting in AV and Event technology, adhering to established policies and procedures.
Documentation and Communication: Prepare comprehensive documentation for designs, proposals, and event support presentations. Communicate effectively with technical presentations and process documentation.
Technical Leadership: Provide highly technical leadership, mentoring, and methodologies to drive innovation in AV technologies. Execute multiple tasks simultaneously on tight timelines.
Evaluation and Planning: Establish evaluation criteria and processes. Contribute to long-term capacity planning, baselines, policies, and procedures.
