Role
The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying developing and managing business opportunities to drive revenue and growth for the company. They work closely with the sales marketing and leadership teams to develop and execute strategies that align with the organizations objectives.
Key Responsibilities:
- Market Research: Conduct market research to identify potential clients industries and market trends. Stay informed about competitors and market conditions.
- Lead Generation: Generate leads through various channels such as cold calling networking email marketing and referrals.
- Relationship Building: Establish and maintain strong relationships with existing and potential clients partners and other stakeholders.
- Target Achievement: Consistently achieves the sales target on a monthly quarterly and annual basis and ensures proper hygiene of the business in terms of payment collection secondary liquidation and profitability to the organization.
- Proposal and Pitching: Prepare proposals presentations and pitches to prospective clients. Customize offerings to address client needs and pain points effectively.
- Negotiation and Closing: Negotiate terms and contracts with clients and ensure successful deal closures.
- Client Retention: Manage and nurture existing client relationships to maximize longterm business opportunities and repeat business.
- Collaboration: Work closely with crossfunctional teams including sales marketing product development and finance to ensure a cohesive approach to business development.
- Market Expansion: Identify new markets and business opportunities for expansion and growth.
- Reporting and Analysis: Regularly track and report on business development activities performance and results. Analyze data to make datadriven decisions.
Candidate :
- 14 years in sales in Pharma / Medical / Healthcare especially in consumables.
- Minimum Bachelors degree in business marketing or a related field.
- Proven experience in business development sales or a related field.
- Strong understanding of the companys industry and market dynamics.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong negotiation and persuasion skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Resultsdriven with a focus on meeting and exceeding sales targets.
- Strong analytical and problemsolving skills.
- Proficiency in using CRM software and other sales and marketing tools.
