Job title: Team Leader – Market Access
Team Lead - Market Access - Market access experience with Pharma background, 11+ years, CTC offered - 35 LPA - Bangalore

Reports to : Manager – Pricing and Market Access
Key responsibilities:
Responsible for leading a team and developing strategic scalable solutions focusing on Market access
Functional understanding and execution
- Secondary research on respective therapy area to understand the disease landscape, understand the healthcare environment across different geographies,
- Analytical and consulting services in designing, delivering, and executing projects related to market access
- Analyse the available information, provide insights and recommendations o Understand the business question, design the appropriate approach and/or methodology to address the same
- Analyse the HTA assessments from key payers, understand their recommendations and reasons for approval or rejection and capture relevant insights
- Prepare the target product profiles for Novo Nordisk products and compare the same with competition
- Liaise with market access stakeholders, clinical/medical, regulatory, and other cross functional teams to get project related relevant information
- Monitor pricing and market access challenges and trends for Novo Nordisk and competitor products
- Assist in development of relevant documents to support payer discussions / negotiations
- Assist in development, maintenance of guidance and training material. Train, mentor and develop new joiners or junior colleagues within Market access team
- Complete ownership of the deliverables from end-to-end with a mind-set of 'continuous improvement' and share recommendations with the manager and stakeholder
- Transform business requirements into Project requirements and timely closure of deliverables with proper project management skills
- Always be curious to improve on the existing model and suggest innovative ideas to contribute to the digital era
· Team management and development - Managing a diverse team of data and domain experts, setting goals and objectives, and ensuring that team members meet their targets. Should provide feedback, training, coaching, motivation, and disciplinary action when necessary.
- Responsible for planning team's activities, resource allocation and monitoring progress to meet aligned goals. Should set clear expectations for the team, communicate these expectations to team members, and provide regular feedback to improve performance.
- Evaluate individual and team performance against objectives and identify areas for improvement to promote growth and ensure the team is meeting its targets.
- Operations mgmt. for the team and making sure that there is strong contingency plan in place for business continuity
- Hiring future talents based on expectations with business partners in IOSO
- Talent attraction, hiring, leadership and development o Developing strong pipeline for sustainability of the COE
- Driving key assessment projects to spot opportunities to expand internal team as per business needs
· Program management:
- Responsible for overall planning and designing of market access projects along with IOSO stakeholders and proactively monitoring its progress, resolving issues, and initiating appropriate corrective action
- Since projects will involve participation and impact multiple functions/ groups, one must develop working relationships with all interfacing teams including IO Market access and commercial teams, Medical / clinical teams, and pricing teams
- Drive weekly calls to brief multiple groups on the progress of projects and ensuring all actions are being taken and as a group to reach desired goals
- Monitors project status and adjusts resources and priorities accordingly
- Resolves issues and conflicts with team members, management, peers, and business partners
- Provide accurate project task estimates and resource planning forecasts
- Identify roadblocks and provide precise solutions with good rationale
- Effective co-ordination of any new capability or addition to existing projects for the business to enable effective change and realisation of projected benefits
· Stakeholder management
- Collaborate efficiently with IOSO Stakeholders, Global stakeholder, and affiliates to look at feedback, development opportunities
- Development and successful delivery of stakeholder engagement plans in accordance with the overarching stakeholder engagement strategy o Discuss and align with IOSO stakeholder to define future roadmap of market access projects
- Provide briefings and support to technical teams for meetings with stakeholders
- Ensure to share important milestones or any people challenges
· Strategic tasks
- To define the long-term vision of the team and drive progress towards creating impact to business
- To develop newer capabilities within the team and strengthen the market access and commercial offerings
- Team expansion in terms of geographical reach and service expansion
· Finance GBS initiative and responsibilities
- Key participation in Commercial Analytics and Extended management meetings and driving initiatives
- Driving and managing key initiatives within department and at unit level to meet the strategic requirements
Main job tasks:
- Provide analytical and consulting services in designing, delivering, and executing projects related to Commercial analytics
- Develop presentations for key stakeholders across International Operations
- Experience in designing and building a compelling, structured, and logical storyboard
- Translates business strategies to high-quality PowerPoint slides quickly and effectively
- Excellent oral and written communications and editorial skills with communications and project management experience. Should be comfortable working directly with the senior leaderships
- Prepare the project plans, track project milestones and own end to end responsibility for the projects
- Strong project management skills in resolving multiple dependencies from different teamsspread in different geographies across International Operations.
- Ongoing alignment on project milestones and deliverables from the in-house process experts and Business Commercial teams
- Ensure superior customer satisfaction by delivering high end quality deliverables. Resource management for the tasks

- Manage the market access team and ensure alignment with product and business strategy
Other areas of responsibility:
- Ensure own unit comply with local legislation and NN health and safety requirements (as described in Q189808 'Health and Safety in Novo Nordisk')
- Collaborate with HS reps and ensure their involvement in relevant health and safety processes
- IDP and performance discussions with team members
- Compliance to NN, IT and dress code policies for the team
Communication and Stakeholder interaction: Key stakeholders
· Includes VPs / Directors/ Senior Managers from IO and across regions within IO
· International stakeholders
· CA mgmt. and Finance HOD Team members

· The position requires consistent engagement with numerous external and internal stakeholders
· Good communication and stakeholder engagement skills are necessary to manage relationships efficiently

Geographic responsibility:
Primarily IOSO, regions and affiliates
Includes limited interaction with other areas as well
Knowledge, skills, and experience:
Education: Master and bachelor degree from recognized university – Pharma, Biotechnology, Public health, Management preferred
Experience:
- Minimum 8-10 Years of experience in analytical domain with market access and commercial projects
- Knowledge on pharma market access and drug commercialization is a must
- PMP, or similar project management training/ work exposures
- Minimum of 3+ experience with Project management and managing key stakeholders in any geography
- Strong program/ project management skills with around 2 or 3 years of proven track record in supporting operational excellence, Process efficiency, lean projects
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
