The Opportunity
We are currently looking for a FP&A and Systems Analyst
You will be expected to
- Understand and manage data flows and run pipeline between financial systems
- Review and manage static information and mapping tables between NetSuite, Workday Adaptive and Azure
- Intermediate knowledge of excel important to reconcile systems data
Using your accounting systems experience, coupled with coding capabilities your main role will be to maintain, control and enhance the financial reporting infrastructure and work under the guidance of the FP&A Manager
The Models which are used by a wide audience both in finance and beyond are required to be timely and accurate.
You will be expected to work with the Data Engineer and FP&A Manager to run and resolve issues, if and when they arise, within the FP&A Azure Data Factory Processes.
The Specifics Operational - Ensure that the Outputs from the various Bi Models agree with the Data from the Core Input systems.
- Update the existing Input, ETL and Output Process when required.
- Ability to Trigger Azure pipelines.
- Ability to understand Azure Runbook.
- Ability to problem solve Azure Pipeline Fails.
- 'Big Data' Management – ie Reconciliation of massive data tables.
- Maintain existing Power Bi reports.
- Able to clearly articulate complex systems.
Financial Management - Maintenance of Reports.
- Knowledge of Accounting Systems. NetSuite or other Oracle packages would be desirable.
- Some knowledge of Forecasting models.
- Maintenance of Financial Data Tables eg… Periodic, Static, Live, Historic and other mapping Tables.
- Update the existing Input, ETL and Output Process when required.
Compliance - To abide to the Compliance Policies and Procedures of the Company.
Occupational H&S - Take reasonable care of your own and other people's Health & Safety in the workplace.
- Report all incidents and hazards in your work or in your work environment that may be putting your or anyone else's Health & Safety at risk promptly.
Additional Tasks In addition to this you are required to carry out any other duties as reasonably requested by your direct line leader.
What we're looking for
(you don't need to be a guru at all, we're looking forward to coaching and collaborating with you) Qualification Bachelor's degree in computer science, Maths, Physics or other numerate subject. Software Engineering or comparable professional development and commercial experience.
Experience - 2+ years Programming experience.
- 1+ years of Azure experience.
- 1+ years of SQL Server Management Studio.
- 2+years of MS Excel.
- Some knowledge of Accounting Systems, however NetSuite would be preferrable.
- 1+ years experience of Forecasting tools and/or models.
- 1+ years of working with 'Saved Searches'.
- Time spent working in Financial domain.
- Python knowledge is not essential but would be desirable.
- Power Bi knowledge is not essential but would be desirable.
