Job description
Roles :
1.Design, configure, and install various network devices and services, from routing, switching, and firewalls, which may require to analyze anticipate bandwidth consumption for new clients
2.Properly set the scope and timelines of new projects to meet completion deadlines, which may be medium to large-scale complex projects affecting the entire network.
3.Demonstrate the ability to prioritize and manage competing demands and tasks and successfully manage multiple engagements that may require additional resources
4.Work within established configuration and change management (ITIL) policies to ensure awareness, approval, and success of changes made to the network infrastructure, including having experience vetting updates
5.Able to design and implement PCI and High Compliance Zones. Perform advanced network engineering level functions in support of a multi-site enterprise environment.
6.Understand IPSEC GRE tunnels in VPN technology. Design and document Tier II ISP Routing Policies, Network Architecture, IP Subnetting, VLSM, TCP/IP, NAT, DHCP, DNS, FT1 / T1 / FT3 / T3 SON ET POS OCX / GigE circuits, Firewalls Migration of all the Dell Sonic firewalls to ASA firewalls for DOT-NC.
7.Configure routing protocols like RIP, IGRP, EIGRP, OSPF multiple areas, and BGP including Virtual Chassis for Cisco switches C9500/C9300, Firewalls NSA5600,3600.
8.Perform routers and switches testing in the laboratory and deploy them on-site production
9.Design the L2VPN services and encryption systems and other VPNs with IPSEC-based services. Work on IP Subnetting ,designing allocation of various classes of IP addresses to the domain
10. Troubleshoot IP conflict Problems and work on Gigabit Ethernet and Fast Ethernet connection and applied QoS for the bandwidth-delay
11.Administration of Dell sonic firewall, configuration of CISCO 9500,9300 series switches, HP Aruba 6200 series switches, and Virtual port channels.
12.Monitor Network traffic and its performance using performance tools like ping tools and PRTG.
Responsibilities:
1.Maintain and control computer networks and associated computing environments like software for systems, software applications, equipment, and configurations.
2.Running operations for disaster recovery and backups of data where possible.
3.Data, applications, and hardware are protected by organizing, preparing, and enforcing network security measures.
4.Troubleshooting, diagnosing, and solving hardware, software, and other issues affecting the network and device.
5.Replacing defective hardware components of the network where possible.
6.Maintain, customize, and track the device and email applications for virus protection.
7Dot network performance monitoring to decide whether any changes are required.
8.Conferring with network users on solving issues with current networks.
9.Use master consoles to control network and computer system output.
10.Coordinating access to the use of computer networks.
11.Plan, install, and test networking devices, hardware for computers, and devices for operating systems.
12.Responding promptly to alerts from the monitoring tools. Troubleshooting network problems researching specific solutions and projects. Managing network changes in accordance with any required change management process. Work with the team to identify service improvements to processes and procedures.
13.Proactively identify, own, and escalate any issue or problem that could affect customer experience. Providetechnicalsupport toa range ofManaged Service accounts. Responsible for maintaining all levels of account access in accordance with the access management guidelines, across all Managed Service Accounts.
14.Knowledge of operating systems such as Cisco IOS, Wintel products, etc Ability to apply configurations where required.
15.Responsible for Firewall Administration (Creating and removing firewall rules as needed), Network Security Administration, and Network Engineering duties within an OSPF / BGP environment.
16.Configure and maintain High Availability Dell sonic firewalls in a Provider-1 Environment. Plan, Design, Implement and support firewalls and VPNs over Dell sonic firewalls
17.Responsible for designing VPN with IPSEC security layer. Support networks comprises of 390 CISCO devices.
18. Provide Technical assistance and support for CISCO 9500,9300 and HP Aruba 6200 switches. Assist the Certification Team by performing LANWAN configurations (Ethernet, Fast Ethernet, and Gigabit Ethernet.
19.Configure and maintain routers and switches. Implement and troubleshoot RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP routing protocols. Configure and troubleshoot various WAN technologies: MPLS, T1, T3, DS3 and ISDN. Met with Engineering Teams to prepare configurations according to client requirements.
