Job Summary We're seeking a talented Frontend Engineer with robust expertise in WordPress customization. Your role will revolve around developing seamless and visually captivating user interfaces within the WordPress ecosystem. Proficiency in frontend technologies like React.js or Next.js is crucial, alongside a solid grasp of PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. If you're passionate about crafting exceptional user experiences, staying updated with React.js or Next.js trends, and have a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you. Responsibilities Collaborate with cross-functional teams: Work closely with designers, developers, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, design solutions, and deliver high-quality software products. Custom Theme and Plugin Development: Leverage your strong PHP experience to write custom plugins and themes from scratch, rather than relying solely on ready-made themes, ensuring unique and tailored solutions for the requirement. This involves writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code to meet requirements. Web Development: Utilize your excellent knowledge of WordPress, CSS, HTML, JavaScript, and jQuery to develop and customize WordPress websites. Leverage React to build interactive web applications and user interfaces. Utilize your expertise in JavaScript, jQuery, and experience with LAMP stack (Linux, Apache, MySQL, PHP) to enhance website functionality and performance. Accessibility and Web Standards: Ensure that all websites adhere to accessibility considerations and web standards to provide an inclusive user experience. Communication Skills: Exhibit excellent written and verbal communication skills, fostering effective collaboration within the team and with stakeholders. Database Management and Version Control: Work with MySQL/PhpMyAdmin and Git to effectively manage databases and version control, ensuring data integrity and project collaboration. Troubleshoot and debug issues in production environments, ensuring timely resolution and minimal disruption. Stay Updated: Stay informed about the latest frontend trends, best practices, and security updates, continuously improving skills and staying ahead of industry developments. Qualifications Minimum of 2 years of WordPress Development Experience: Demonstrated hands-on experience as a WordPress Developer, with a minimum of 2 years of experience, and a track record of delivering successful projects. Proficiency in JavaScript Frameworks: Strong proficiency in at least one JavaScript framework such as React.js, Vue.js, or AngularJS, demonstrating the ability to leverage these frameworks to enhance frontend development within the WordPress environment. Proficiency in Core Technologies: Proficient in PHP, WordPress, JavaScript, HTML5, and CSS3, with a deep understanding of WordPress standards and best practices. Custom Theme and Plugin Development: Extensive experience in building custom themes and plugins from scratch, showcasing the ability to create tailored solutions to meet client needs effectively. Proactive Problem Solver: A proactive problem solver with excellent analytical skills, capable of identifying and resolving issues efficiently to ensure project success. Responsive Mobile Development: A strong grasp of responsive mobile development principles, ensuring optimal user experience across devices and platforms. Version Control and Database Management: Experience with version control systems, particularly Git, and proficiency in using MySQL/PhpMyAdmin for database management, ensuring efficient collaboration and data integrity.
