Sr. Product Analyst

Overview

The Senior Product Analyst is responsible for release planning, status reporting, writing business requirements, coordinating with various stakeholders in the product development lifecycle, and providing subject matter expertise on applications to product stakeholders and development teams. The role includes understanding the products and features, resource allocation, and time management as well as performing market research and customer interactions to research, triage, and execute on product roadmap development.

The Senior Product Analyst acts as a subject matter expert to define, implement, and support internally built Consumer Product Line applications. Supports business owners and peers related to application enhancements or system issues. Works with other key product team members to determine product roadmap, execution of the roadmap, and defining implementation and support processes as needed. Coordinates product deployment and usage across multiple customers to ensure optimal product usage and drive customer engagement.

What you will do:

• Write business requirements and coordinate with development and quality assurance engineers to develop product vision.
• Plan product releases, features, and user stories.
• Perform independent research on assigned areas.
• Perform research into recurring customer pain points and develop solutions.
• Prepare status reports.
• Track customers’ bugs .
• Manage release risks .

What you will bring:

• Master’s or bachelor’s degree in computer science or similar.
• 3+ years’ experience in business analysis or product management
• 5+ years of customer-facing and hands-on technology leadership experience.
• 12+ years’ experience in US healthcare; Payer space experience strongly preferred.
• Demonstrable skills in designing, developing, and triaging complex technology-based solutions in a product organization
• Strong knowledge of Agile, Scrum, RUP processes.
• Strong knowledge of tools such as Target Process, and GitLab Ultimate.
• Strong domain knowledge of the US Healthcare EDI space.
• Good knowledge of the data formats, communication protocols, and basic knowledge of programming languages.
• Responsive, responsible, self-motivated person, ready to work flexible hours, especially during the pre-release time.
• Can-do attitude, ability to work well with others in different geographic regions, detail oriented.
• Edifecs experience is strongly preferred.
