Qualification: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or higher.
Roles and Responsibilities
• 5+ years of hand-on experience on Security Analysis, Remediations and Architecture.
• Proven experience as a Cloud Security Architect, with a focus on Cloud and cloud security best practices.
• Good to have understanding and working knowledge of CSPM, CWPP, CNAPP tools like Prisma Cloud, Defender for Cloud, and other tools.
• Cloud Security Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive cloud security strategy and roadmap for Cloud to protect our organization's data, applications, and infrastructure.
• Identity and Access Management: Establish robust identity and access management (IAM) policies and controls, including role-based access control (RBAC) and single sign-on (SSO).
• Security Compliance: Ensure Cloud environments comply with relevant industry standards, regulations, and certifications. Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
• Network Security: Implement network security controls, firewalls, and intrusion detection systems (IDS) to safeguard cloud resources. Design and monitor network segmentation.
• Data Protection: Develop and enforce data protection measures, including encryption, data loss prevention (DLP), and data classification.
• Security Monitoring: Set up continuous security monitoring and incident detection mechanisms using Cloud's security tools and third-party solutions.
• Cloud Security Automation: Implement security automation and orchestration to improve threat detection, response, and overall security posture.
• Application Migration: Lead the migration of on-premises and other cloud-hosted applications to Cloud while optimizing for performance, cost, and reliability.
• Strong knowledge of Cloud services related to security, including Cloud Identity and Access Management (IAM), Cloud Security Command Center, and VPC Service Controls.
• Able to demonstrate POC environment with complex cloud security architectures and cloud native security controls.
• In-depth understanding of cloud security frameworks, standards, and compliance requirements (e.g., NIST, CIS, GDPR).
• Expertise in security risk assessment, vulnerability management, and penetration testing.
• Familiarity with security automation tools, scripting languages (e.g., Python), and Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools.
• Build and operate a secure cloud and networking environment, responsible for end-to-end platform security and security audits.
• Hands on experience managing cloud-based firewalls.
• Hands on hardening experience (e.g., design, recommend and implement security hardening technical controls)
Primary Skills:
• Cloud Security and Cyber Security Certification.
• Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect certification.
• Experience with DevSecOps practices and tools.
• Familiarity with container security (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
• Knowledge of multi-cloud and hybrid cloud security architectures.
