Role Overview

As a Quality Engineer at Sansera Engineering, you will play a vital role in maintaining and improving product quality standards throughout our manufacturing processes. Your main objective will be to ensure that all products meet or exceed customer expectations and comply with industry standards. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to implement and monitor quality control measures to enhance product reliability, performance, and safety.

Responsibilities

Familiar with Hot Forging Process QA requirements

Responsible for Inprocess & Final Quality

Responsible for Customer complaint handling & 8D Submission

Root cause analysis & action plan for inhouse & Customer end rejections/Complaints

Daily meeting to be conducted with team members to review inhouse & customer end rejections/complaints

Daily Rejection Disposal with root cause analysis & action plan

Knowledge on IATF16929:2016 Standard

Responsible for documentation like SPC, MSA, Skill Matrix, Product audit, Layered Audit, Process Audit

Certified IATF Internal auditor

Knowledge on Machining Process

Understanding of 2D drawing reading & Customer requirements

Responsible for Continual improvement through QCC & Kaizen

Presentation to be made for MRM on every month with root cause analysis & Action plan

Handling & Training of team members & allocation of work to team members

Knowledge on PPAP

Preparation of Rejection statements With trends

Qualifications

• Educational Background: Diploma in Mechanical
• Experience: 6 to 7 years of experience in a quality engineering role, ideally in the automotive, aerospace, or manufacturing industry.
• Strong Technical Skills: Proficiency in quality tools and methodologies, such as Statistical Process Control (SPC), Measurement Systems Analysis (MSA), and Failure Modes and Effects Analysis (FMEA). Familiarity with ISO 9001, Six Sigma, and Lean principles is highly desirable.
• Analytical Abilities: Demonstrated ability to analyze complex problems, conduct root cause analysis, and implement effective solutions.
• Communication Skills: Strong verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams, suppliers, and customers.
• Attention to Detail: Meticulousness in product inspections, documentation, and data analysis to ensure accuracy and reliable quality control processes.
• Adaptability: Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, manage multiple priorities, and adapt quickly to changing requirements.
• Should have Forging Process Knowledge & Must know IATF 1649:2016 requirements.
