Job Title : AVP - Portfolio for one of the premier incubators
Location: Ahmedabad
Job Description
● Financial Analysis:
o Conduct in-depth financial analysis to assess the financial health of startups and potential investment opportunities.
o Prepare comprehensive financial models, valuation analyses, and investment memoranda,transaction and trading comparable for enabling follow on round conversations
● Client Relationship Management:
o Build new and maintain existing relationships with investors by understanding their thesis, portfolio investments to provide them with potential investment opportunities from the portfolio
o Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless delivery of investment insights and fundraising industry landscape
● Market Research:
o Stay abreast of industry trends, market conditions, and regulatory changes that may impact investment decisions.
o Provide market insights and intelligence to clients and internal teams.
● Presentations and Communication:
o Prepare and deliver compelling presentations to clients, stakeholders, and internal teams.
Key Skills/Abilities
• Strong understanding of financial markets, investment strategies, and valuation methods, venture capital and startup investment eco system
• Exceptional analytical and quantitative skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
• Target oriented and extremely proactive
Qualification/Experience Required
• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Business, or a related field; MBA or CFA preferred.
• 3-5 years of experience in investment banking or a investor relation role.
• Existing relationships with Indian & Cross boarder VCs/Bankers is a welcome experience
