We are looking for a Business Development Manager for India and Rest of the world. Primary focusing in US region.
Job description
• Represent the company effectively with comprehensive knowledge of our offerings.
• Research NetSuite customer needs and identify how our solutions address them.
• Hire, train, motivate, and advise a team of sales representatives.
• Achieve company objectives by planning thoroughly, setting sales goals, analyzing performance data, and making forecasts.
• Develop skills continuously for hiring, training, and leading team members, and ensure that they are using effective sales tactics to meet revenue objectives.
• Generate leads and establish and nurture client relationships.
• Create and execute a strategic sales plan that expands our customer base and extends the company's global reach.
• Meet with potential clients and develop long-lasting relationships that address their needs.
• Recruit sales representatives, set objectives, train, and coach them, and monitor their performance.
• Identify knowledge gaps within the team and develop plans for filling them.
• Ensure that company quotas are met by holding daily check-ins with the sales team to set objectives and monitor progress.
• Manage the month-end and year-end closing processes. Required Candidate profile
• Five or more years of experience in managing sales in a growing software company.
• Experience selling cloud ERP add on solutions- in North America/APAC regions in at least one of the following applications- NetSuite/Sage/Infor/Epicor/MS Dynamics.
• Experience working with ERP/SaaS customers in Retail/Wholesale distribution/General business verticals.
• Prior experience working with SMB customers is desirable.
• Proven record of success with the entire sales process, from planning to closing
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
• Superb leadership ability • Proficiency in customer relationship management (CRM) software
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, with experience presenting to partners and stakeholders.
• Has a strong sales background. • Ability to build and maintain relationships with partners.
• Strong problem-solving and negotiation skills
• Time management and organizational skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• A desire to learn and grow in the channel management field.
• Motivational speaking experience
• Proven success rate at levels above sales quota
• Bachelor’s degree in business or related field
