Job Summary:

As the Category Manager of Electricals, you will be pivotal in overseeing and managing the electrical materials category. Your responsibilities include developing strategic plans, nurturing supplier relationships, ensuring product quality, and collaborating with cross-functional teams to optimize the overall efficiency of our platform.

Responsibilities:

1. Category Strategy:

- Develop and execute a strategic plan for the electrical materials category, aligned with the company's overarching objectives.

- Analyze market trends, customer needs, and competition to optimize the electrical category assortment.

2. Supplier Management:

- Source, evaluate, and manage relationships with electrical materials suppliers to Bestablish a reliable and cost-effective supply chain.

- Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.

3. Product Development:

- Collaborate with suppliers to introduce new and innovative electrical products to the platform.

- Work closely with the product development team to enhance the electrical category offering based on customer feedback and market demands.

4. Quality Assurance:

- Implement and maintain stringent quality standards for electrical materials,ensuring compliance with industry regulations and customer expectations.

Conduct regular product quality assessments and address any issues promptly.5. Sales and Marketing Collaboration:

- Work closely with the sales and marketing teams to develop effective strategies for promoting electrical materials to the target audience.

- Provide product training and support to the sales team to enhance their product knowledge and selling capabilities.

6. Inventory Management:

Collaborate with the supply chain team to optimize inventory levels, reduce lead times, and enhance overall logistics efficiency.

7. Market Analysis:

- Monitor industry trends, technological advancements, and changes in regulations related to electrical - materials.

- Conduct market research to identify opportunities for growth and potential risks.

8. Customer Engagement:

- Engage with customers to understand their electrical material needs, gather feedback, and incorporate insights into category improvements.

- Collaborate with the customer service team to address any product-related inquiries or issues.

Qualifications:

- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Business Administration, or a related field.

- Proven experience (3+ years) in a category management role within the electrical materials or related industry.

- In-depth knowledge of electrical materials, codes, and standards.

- Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.

- He has demonstrated success in product development and category management.

- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

- Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and market trends.

- Proficiency in relevant software and tools for category management.
