Job description
Ensures accurate and timely processing of Sales orders & invoices.
Address and solve client questions and issues related to Sales Order Validation and invoicing.
Address non-standard billing requests.
Assist in M&A projects.
Resolving any errors or discrepancies with customer billing or billing reports
Assists in preparing Monthly SOX Controls
Manages SOP/Process documentation.
Support the team in the absence of Team Lead
Actively take part in the accounting close by working directly with the cross functional teams in India and at the head office following the accounting guidance
Partner with cross functional teams (Deal Desk, Revops, and IT) to ensure all entries are recorded and revenue is accurately recognized in the accounting systems.
Maintain compliance with internal controls and review of balance sheet accounts.
Lead various ad-hoc process improvements and other systems update as well as automation initiatives.
What you'll Need:
Commerce graduate / MBA Finance (masters degree preferred)
Overall, 6-8 years of Experience in accounting with minimum 3-4 Years of Experience in Sales order processing/Billing.
Good knowledge of entire Order to Cash Cycle.
Sound Accounting knowledge and understanding.
Good Knowledge of customer portal setup
Experience with process improvement / automation projects
Understanding of ERP. NetSuite and SFDC experience are preferred.
Ability to work in a dynamic, fast paced, and fast-growing company where adaptability is imperative while maintaining high performance standards, passion for excellence and continuous improvement.
Team player and effective communicator with all levels of management and cross functional organizations
Working knowledge and understanding of automation as well as business justifications, KPIs, initiatives and blockers
Excellent communication skills are a must with a good command over written and spoken English.
Experience with a Shared Resource Centre will be a big plus.
Shift time - 12:00PM - 09:00PM IST
