Job description
Years of Experience:
3-5 Skills: DB Architecture and Design, Oracle DBA, Postgres DBA, Mongo DB RDBMS DBA - offshore Postgres and Oracle DBA expertise having at least 5+ years of relevant work experience. Excellent knowledge of Database Administration and Strong understanding of SQL. General understanding of the design and development of applications that access PostgreSQL/Oracle. Strong backup and restore (pg_dump, rman, physical backup tools), database performance tuning, SQL Query tuning and development, Replication (Goldengate) and Failover experience. Able to work with data architects to design conceptual data models and data flows. And Implement data strategies and creating physical data models. Strong in scripting and task automation (SQL, Bash, Python, Git) Good understanding of database security, authentication models and data encryption. Ability to effectively communicate and collaborate with application development teams. Knowledge of other RDBMS ( SQL Server or DB2) or any NoSQL database (Couchbase or Mongo) is preferred.
