- Respond to technical and functional questions in RFIs/RFPs
- This role would require ability to review, read RFP/RFI documents from customers, derive the cyber security solution/control requirements and convert them into an holistic solution.
- Ability to work with large and complex customer environments independently and in a team environment, especially the proven ability to work closely with direct sales organizations.
- Ability to drive Technology transformation opportunities within/outside the existing customer base.
- Ability to handhold, groom/mentor people within the team across technology areas, industry trends, etc.
- Ability to stitch the overall solution from a cyber security standpoint cutting across all domains within Cyber Security including, Infrastructure security, cloud (public/private) security, Data security, Security of things, Application Security, Security Event monitoring and Orchestration platforms
- Excellent knowledge across multiple Security OEM platforms like Palo Alto, Cisco, Fortinet, SDWAN and SASE solutions, SIEM solutions including Google Chronicle, Devo, Azure Sentinel, EDR platforms including CrowdStrike, Cylance, etc.
- Experience on Threat monitoring, intelligence, EDR/MDR/NDR platforms.
- Understanding of Attack Surface Management solutions across Asset Discovery & Vulnerability Scanning, Penetration Testing, Attack Simulation and Remediation / Mitigation solutions.
- At least Associate level knowledge of leading public cloud platform providers (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate or Azure similar) is preferred.
- Strong interpersonal, verbal, and written communication skills to accomplish client-facing interactions
- Experienced with security operations, network monitoring, threat analysis, and investigation response solutions.
- Experience with cyber security processes, tools, and technologies and extensive knowledge of best practices regarding their implementation.
- Analytical & Solution mindset, with the ability to find alternative solutions / strategies for a given problem statement.
- Public speaking ability, with experience in independently conducting Technical sessions and handling Q&As
Responsibilities:
The desired candidate will be responsible to:
- Demonstrate HCLTech Cyber Security products and services to customers on-site, remotely via webinars, sessions, and at field events such as conferences and trade shows.
- Conduct proactive PoC / PoV sessions, Tech Days and Technology briefing sessions for customers.
- Respond to technical and functional questions in RFIs/RFPs
- Eliminate sales obstacles using creative and adaptive approaches
- Understand business problems with a passion for applying technology solutions, and leveraging technology trends, to deliver results.
- Interact strongly with customers upon very good written & verbal communication and troubleshooting skills.
- Provide thought-leadership via writing blogs & whitepapers and support in marketing activities like Webinars, events, round tables, etc.
Educational and professional background
- Required - Advanced degree in computer science, computer engineering or equivalent technical field.
- Preferred - MBA or similar business courses.
Qualifications
- 09-15 years of experience in the Information Technology Industry
- 3-5+ years of experience as a Security Solution Architect in client-facing roles.
- Experience as Cyber-Security Engineer, Consultant or similar, with a successful track record of designing & deploying Security Solutions, new business production and ability to exceed quotas
Role Description
- This role is expected to support clients' Technology Transformation & Technical Solution design, with in-depth knowledge of Enterprise Security Architecture, exposure to various leading Security Technology products and their integration with different IT Solutions.
- This role requires cyber security expertise and experience to understand client business challenges and technical needs to develop solutions that address cyber security needs across on-premise and cloud enterprises.
- This role will require the ability to engage with customers in proactive Technical workshops to understand current Security controls & solutions deployed, clients' intended IT & Cyber Security roadmap and propose Transformation solutions to meet current and future requirements.
- The ideal candidate can quickly digest and rationalize current cybersecurity capabilities and gaps within a client's environment and develop and execute technical sales strategies plans for enterprise accounts.
- You will work independently and with sales teams to engage with clients and prospects for executive briefings, technical consultations, contract discussions, and product requirements.
