Job description
Key Responsibilities 1. Develop, document and execute comprehensive test plans and test cases to ensure the quality and functionality of software applications. 2. Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry-standard tools and frameworks. 3. Perform exploratory testing to identify potential issues, defects, and usability concerns. 4. Document test results, track defects, and collaborate with development teams to facilitate issue resolution. 5. Participate in regression testing to validate the impact of code changes and ensure the stability of existing functionalities. 6. Collaborate with development teams to identify areas suitable for test automation and develop robust automated test suites. 7. Execute automated tests to validate software functionality, performance, and reliability. 8. Collaborate with developers to understand application architecture and design effective test strategies. 9. Conduct API testing to validate data integrity, security, and performance. 10. Document and track software defects, providing detailed information to assist developers in the resolution process. 11. Contribute to the continuous improvement of testing processes and methodologies.
Requirements 1. Design, document, implement, and maintain automated test scripts using industry standard tools and frameworks. 2. Experience with test automation tools such as Selenium, JUnit, TestNG, Protactor or similar. 3. Good understanding of API testing and tools like Postman, REST Assured, or similar. 4. Strong communication skills, both written and verbal. 5. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills. 6. Proficiency in at least one programming or scripting language (e.g., Java, Python, JavaScript). 7. Willingness to work in a fast-paced, high-growth environment. Nice to have 1. Understanding of Timeseries, NoSQL, SQL databases. 2. ISTQB or similar testing certifications. 3. Knowledge of continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines. 4. Experience with performance testing tools such as JMeter What will we do together? 1. Closely work with the Software Development and Business Product Leads to ensure full coverage of testing across product processes. 2. Maintain accurate reporting of product quality and performance. 3. Maintain proper documentation at each level of Test design and execution.
