Job description

Job Brief: This position will be responsible for Business Development, Sales and Account Management, and also to develop, maintain and expand the relationships between Cybersecurity CCoE and corporations/start-ups/academia/government to accelerate and strengthen the Cyber Security ecosystem by focusing on strategic areas including innovation, entrepreneurship and capability building. This would include development of relevant communities in the ecosystem and incubation programs, with the help of marketing and technical teams. This is an opportunity to collaborate with top corporate executives, entrepreneurs, and government bodies while assisting CoE growth and fund raising through new stakeholders. Responsibilities: a) Business Development and Sales: · Drive Business Development, Sales and Account Management · Build, Develop and engage with relevant Communities with the help of CCoE’s marketing and technical team members. · Forecast and meet Sales targets · Growing sales and profitability by prioritizing and capturing new customers. · Build and Manage Pipeline: o Prospect for potential new clients and turn this into increased business o Meet potential clients by growing, maintaining, and leveraging own network and grow organization’s network o Identify potential clients, and the decision makers within the client organization o Research and build relationships with new clients · Work with team to develop proposals that addresses the client’s requirements, concerns, and objectives · Engage and maintain relationship with stakeholders and prospects for development of business. · Strategize on events, conferences and develop partnerships and funding opportunities · Engage with partners in negotiations, closing the deals and signing the contracts. · Track deliveries, payments and receivables. · Create yearly plan for business development. Track progress and report the performance. · Work in conjunction with the CEO to close contracts. · Execute the strategic start up business development plan while working with key internal stakeholders. · Participate in pricing of CCoE’s services and offerings · Set up meetings between client decision makers and CCoE/DSCI’s management · Plan approaches and pitches · Ensure closure of business deals with the needed follow-ups · Ensure submission of all proposals within schedules · Work closely with technology leadership to produce high quality proposals

b) Ecosystem, Organization and Market Development : · Map Cyber Security ecosystem in the state from Government, Industry, Academia and strike appropriate partnerships for CoE · Map national initiatives in cyber security and identify opportunities to scale programs of CoE · Evangelizing Cyber Security and Data Privacy and initiatives and Programs of CoE · Contribute to the ideation process to build the strategic initiatives of CoE targeted at various segments, Start-ups, IT Industry, User Industry, Government, Academia · Drive execution of new business initiatives through Platform, Accelerator, Academia, Government and Investor Community and identifying business and monetization potential from various initiatives. · Find new ideas, possibilities and markets for partnerships and fund raising · Categorize and characterize the market players and map partnership possibilities with them. · Track initiatives, projects and drivers that lead to investment in the relevant areas of work. · Develop discussion notes, propositions and formal proposals and budgeting for translating ideas into execution · Identify growth opportunities, forge and develop relationships to enable continued rapid growth of CCoE.

Required Skills: B. Tech with MBA degree from a reputed institute is required. 3 - 5 years of prior experience in Business Development role with Start-ups or Accelerators is required. Excellent verbal and written communication skills to make client presentations and interact with CIO, CTO, CISO, and technology leadership of Industry and User Enterprises. Ability to work with Sr. management / leadership within/without the org International experience is a plus Experience with B2B based partnerships in the Cyber Security industry. Strong networking skills and having a well-connected personal network An expansive network of clients where the candidate has sold corporate solutions in the past. Stakeholder relationships in Central and State Govt. Proven track record of effectively negotiating business agreements and developing business relationships that impacted company performance. Ability to manage complex projects and multi-task with excellent organization skills – Pays attention to both details and macro-level outcomes. Exhibit strong problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills. Strong negotiation and influencing skills
