Position – Manager - Financial Planning and Analysis
Job Description
Job Purpose : To lead the accounting team, ensuring the department operates smoothly and efficiently while adhering to standards and regulations. Oversee all accounting operations, create financial reports, and develop strategies to improve financial health.
Key Responsibilities:
1) Oversee and manage the continued development of budgeting, financial forecasting, operating plan, and modelling tools.
2) Analyze complex financial information and reports to provide accurate and timely financial recommendations to management for decision making purposes.
3) Conduct and coordinate financial planning and budget management functions.
4) Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual reports & MIS.
5) Ensure compliance with financial guidelines, company policies, and relevant legal regulations.
6) Develop and monitor performance indicators, highlighting trends and analyzing causes of unexpected variance.
7) Partner with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations.
8) Enhance financial forecasting and reporting systems and models.
9) Support Senior Management Team and Departments heads with in-depth analysis.
Requirements:
1) MBA, CFA is preferred. Experience of 5-7 years, preferably in manufacturing sector
2) Proven work experience in a similar role (e.g., FP&A Manager, Financial Analyst, etc.).
3) Strong understanding of corporate finance and performance management principles.
4) Familiarity with financial and accounting software applications.
5) Strong proficiency in MS Excel, PPT and financial modelling.
6) Excellent analytical, strategic planning, and problem-solving skills.
7) Excellent communication and leadership skills.
8) Ability to work in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment.
