The company employs more than 1000 people and has a network of over 350 distributors and over 75000 retailers.

Experience: Between 15-18 Yrs in Sales and Marketing of Spice Powders, Pickles and Food Products.

Purpose Of The Role

This position is responsible for driving channel sales growth and profitability as per company's sales plans and objectives. This role also needs to develop appropriate sales strategy, plans and programs for the assigned business region and ensure effective deployment of the same. The position requires developing key relationships with customers as well as internal stakeholders to achieve business growth in line with company's targets. and annual plans.

Role & Responsibilities

Develop comprehensive sales strategies categorized by product and SKU for the assigned area to promote the company.

  • Drive and maximize sales revenue and volume for the company's products.
  • Plan and execute category-wise sales planning to ensure targeted market penetration.
  • Develop region-wise and area-wise sales plans to optimize market coverage.
  • Monitor and analyze sales revenue on a weekly and monthly basis, providing insights for improvement.
  • Implement and oversee the daily dispatch plan to meet customer demand efficiently.
  • Ensure 100% advance payment collections before dispatching the company's products.
  • Strategically plan schemes to optimize sales and fulfill growth objectives.
  • Establish the right ordering pattern to minimize stockouts and reduce sales returns.
  • Plan field force tours to ensure maximum coverage at an optimal cost level.
  • Manage storage and distribution through increasing CFA distributors and field force.
  • Ensure a healthy ROI to distribution through timely stock dispatch and generating secondary sales.
  • Drive product SKU-wise growth, distributor-wise, to enhance maximum availability and sales.
  • Collaborate with the IT team to plan and execute sales automation programs.
  • Develop and train a strong sales force
  • Set and review effective goals (KRA/KPI) and conduct periodic performance reviews in collaboration with HR.
  • Identify top sales talent and create comprehensive career plans for long-term retention.
  • Participate in the recruitment and selection process for hiring the right talent for the sales team.
  • Design and implement sales incentive plans based on business needs from time to time.
