Senior Cloud Solutions Architect / Senior Manager / AD – Cloud Transformation

Job Description:

KPMG in India has ambitious plans to scale its Cloud Consulting business. We are looking for strong business and technical leaders, senior advisors and architects to accelerate the growth. Our cloud advisors and solutions architects are experienced technologists with technical breadth and depth coupled with strong interpersonal skills. You'll help our customers define scalable, resilient and secure architectures using the latest including serverless platforms and container-based, microservices architecture.

Responsibilities:

Define cloud strategy and advice customers on value realization leveraging the power of modern cloud-based technologies and best practices

Scope, own and deliver large and complex projects on cloud migration, modernization, cloud native app development, FinOps, DevSecOps, CloudOps, Cloud COE etc.

Work directly with customers to accelerate their products and initiatives and recommend best-practice cloud architectures in line with their long-term business outcomes.

Drive technical solutions discussions with your customers, diving deep into the details to solve complex technical challenges and use your knowledge to craft scalable, flexible, and resilient cloud architectures , prescriptive guidance, proposals and implementation plans.

Act as a thought leader in the wider community, playing a key role in educating, sharing best practices, presenting at events, writing white papers, blogs, and running workshops.

Qualifications:

• 12+ years of experience in IT infrastructure or consulting or software application development/design/architecture
• Proven track record of helping customers with production grade implementations of cloud migration, modernization or cloud native app development as lead architect / consultant
• 3+ years of experience with architecting, designing, implementing, or operating IT systems on leading commercial Cloud platforms like AWS, Azure or GCP
• Associate/Engineer or Professional/Specialty level Certifications from one or more hyperscalers
• Prior experience in business case development, application portfolio assessment, Infrastructure sizing, costing, migration planning and migration to public cloud
• Good understanding of Enterprise Networks, Security and Identity Access Management.
• Must have in-depth understanding of compute, storage, network components including backup, monitoring and DR environment requirements
• Prior track record of guiding customers on best practices around DevOps, SRE, Cost optimization, FinOps, Agile software development etc.
• Exceptional team management and leadership skills
• Ability to build strong business relationship with internal and external stakeholders.
• Deep Passion, Perseverance & Grit coupled with an inquisitive, learning nature.
• Strong verbal, written communication, data presentation skills.
• Self-driven and motivated personality working with a strong conviction to make things happen..
• 3+ years of direct contributions to large project wins by leading the presales effort and interaction with clients.
• Creation of IP, Solution accelerators and other innovative solutions around cloud technologies/solutions that has helped win business or successfully deliver projects.
• BE / B Tech / MCA or related technical degree
• Experience of working in a consulting environment is an added advantage
