Job description
Key responsibilities:
- Drafting and reviewing legal documents, which includes Conveyance Deeds, Agreement for Sale, Agreement for Development, Memoranda of Understandings, Transferable Development Right (TDR) Agreements, Facility Agreements, Mortgage Deeds, Escrow Agreements, Power of Attorney, Deeds of Cancellation, Letters of Intent, Term Sheets, Declarations cum Indemnities, and other miscellaneous agreement
- Managing litigations in the High Court, District Court, RERA, Consumer Forum, and Revenue Tribunals
- Drafting and reviewing plaints, written statements, affidavits, applications, declarations, and any other applicable pleadings
- Coordinating with external lawyers, law firms, court departments, and court officers in relation to the litigations
Skills and competencies:
- Strong drafting and vetting skills for legal documents
- In-depth knowledge of property laws, real estate regulations, and litigation procedures
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast paced environment
- Detail-oriented with a strong focus on accuracy and compliance
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Law (LLB) from a recognized institution
- Admitted to the bar and holds a valid license to practice law
- 10-12 years of experience in legal documentation and litigation within the real estate or a solicitor firm
Salary between 18 Lakh - 24 Lakh per annum.
