The Opportunity :A Senior Data Analyst is tasked with conducting advanced data analysis to extract valuable insights. This role will be working in the Economic Impact delivery team, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and effectively communicating findings to non-technical stakeholders. Key responsibilities include data interpretation, reporting, strategic planning, forecasting, and process improvement. The Senior Data Analyst plays a crucial role in preparing input data and optimizing delivery processes.A Senior Data Analyst typically uses a variety of software tools to perform data analysis, create visualizations, and derive insights including but not limited to Excel (and Power BI.)Shift : NightTimings : US Hours (6:30PM to 3:30AM)Working Style : 90% remote. 10% of the time we expect these resources as well to participate in leadership physical visits to Hyderabad office, physical employee engagement activities.What You Will Do :Work closely with project managers to conduct thorough analysis of complex customer data sets to derive meaningful insights and provide actionable recommendations.Reporting: Generate and present comprehensive reports to stakeholders, highlighting key findings, trends, and performance metrics on customer report deliverablesQuality orientation: Ability to work with project managers to ensure delivery of data insights and reports with quality. Performing data monitoring, verifying the integrity of the data, and implementing error detection to find any potential issues.Stakeholder Communication: Work closely with project managers and translate customer requirements into data specifications for report delivery. Effectively communicate analysis results and insights to non-technical stakeholders, ensuring understanding and alignment.Strategic Planning: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to contribute to strategic planning processes based on data-driven insights.Forecasting: Develop and maintain forecasting models to support decision-making and resource allocation.Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process improvement and efficiency enhancements through data analysis.Team Leadership: Lead and mentor a team of analysts, providing guidance on best practices and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.May help to produce ad hoc data and reports.May assist in implementing or developing systems to capture business operation information.What You'll Need to Succeed :Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Business Analytics, Statistics, Economics, or a related discipline.Proven experience in a senior analyst role, demonstrating expertise in data analysis and interpretation.Strong command and proficiency in data visualization.Ability to recognize data patterns.Ability to simultaneously handle 10 data projects at a time.Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and strategically.Leadership experience with the ability to mentor and guide a team of analysts.Must be detailed and results-oriented with excellent skills for data analysis.Must be skilled with verbal and written communication and be able to interact with various stakeholders.Microsoft Excel expertise in creating and modifying formulas that can compute on multiple cells or ranges of data.Proficiency with MS Windows based applications including Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint required.Must have 7-10 years' experience in a related field.SQL queries knowledge will be useful.Power BI experience is a plus.
