Job description

We are looking for a Product designer with the ability to convert our company vision into a simple, intuitive, and awesome tech product!. The Product Designer will be responsible for ensuring that every feature and offering of Fundamento's product are designed in a user-centric manner. They will be expected to gather user requirements, design graphic elements and solve usability challenges. If you are someone who is interested in building and evolving Fundamento's design system and working with the tech and product teams to build an amazing platform, then this role is for you!

We are looking for a creative thinker who is

• Empathetic and eager to address the needs of customers
• Comfortable working with the ambiguity inherent in startups and small teams
• Able to display ownership and communicate with members from diverse teams with ease
• Experienced in working on B2B products
• Some exposure to building SaaS products (preferred)

Sounds like your kind of work Great! Here's what this role entails:

• Gather and evaluate user requirements in collaboration with product managers and engineers
• Illustrate design ideas using storyboards, process flows and sitemaps
• Design graphic user interface elements, like menus, tabs and widgets
• Develop UI mockups and prototypes that clearly illustrate the product's functionality
• Create original graphic designs (e.g. images, sketches and tables)
• Balance form and function to produce beautiful designs that are just as equally functional.
• Prepare and present rough drafts to internal teams and key stakeholders
• Gather requirements through user interviews
• Build and refine Fundamento's Design System

What you'll need to succeed

• 3+ years of work experience as a, Product Designer, UI/UX Designer or similar role
• Portfolio of design projects in tech (must have)
• Knowledge of wireframing tools (e.g. Figma, Figjam, Balsamiq) (must have)
• Expert at using Figma (must have)
• Up-to-date knowledge and working experience of design softwares like Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop
• Deep knowledge of UX/UI design 
• Ability to clearly articulate design decisions to get stakeholder buy-in on designs (must have)
• High degree of ownership and excellent work ethic (must have)
• Has great aesthetic sensibilities and a strong opinion about design
