Position Overview: We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Speech and Language Pathologist to join our dynamic team. As a Speech and Language Pathologist at SASE, you will play a crucial role in supporting the communication and language development of students with diverse needs. The ideal candidate will have a strong commitment to inclusivity, collaboration, and evidence-based practices to address speech and language challenges.

Responsibilities: Conduct comprehensive assessments to identify speech and language disorders in students. Develop and implement individualiesd treatment plans based on assessment results and collaborate with fellow educators to integrate these plans into the students' overall Individualised Development Programme (IDP). Provide direct therapy services to students with speech and language disorders, both individually and in group settings. Monitor and document student progress, adjusting intervention strategies as needed. Collaborate with educators, parents, and other support staff to create a supportive and inclusive learning environment for students with speech and language challenges. Conduct regular meetings with parents and school staff to discuss student progress, share strategies for continued support, and provide resources for home-based reinforcement. Stay current with research and best practices in the field of speech and language pathology, incorporating new techniques and technologies into practice. Participate in school-wide professional development activities and contribute to the overall development of the school's inclusive education program.

Qualifications: Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program. Previous experience working in an educational setting, preferably in an inclusive school environment. Strong interpersonal and communication skills for collaboration with students, parents, teachers, and other professionals. Knowledge of diverse speech and language disorders, as well as evidence-based intervention strategies. Ability to adapt interventions to meet the unique needs of each student.
