Job description
A leading industrial glass door manufacturer, is seeking a highly motivated and dynamic individual to join their team as Assistant Manager - Industrial Sales. In the role, you will play a vital role in driving sales and expanding the customer base in the Mumbai Metropolitan region This is an exciting opportunity for someone with a background in hardware sales, excellent communication skills, and a passion for building relationships with clients in the industrial field.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with the Sales Manager to develop and implement strategies to achieve the set sales targets.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with existing clients, ensuring client satisfaction and repeat business.
- Generate leads, identify potential customers (architects/consultants/govt bodies, etc) and actively pursue new business opportunities through cold-calling, networking, and market research.
- Conduct in-depth product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the features and benefits of our industrial products and services.
- Prepare and negotiate sales proposals and contracts, ensuring they meet the clients' needs and align with company policies.
- Provide regular updates and reports on sales performance, market trends, and customer feedback to the Sales Manager.
- To collect payments / forms as per terms and conditions accepted. Provide clearance for dispatch, coordination for installation at client site.
- Assist in training and mentoring sales team members, providing guidance and support as needed.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Sales, or a related field.
- Proven experience of 4-5 years in sale of industrial equipment, material handling equipment, plant & machinery, storage equipment or any product sales related to Industrial vertical.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build long-term relationships with clients.
- Strong negotiation and presentation skills.
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
- Own conveyance, valid driver's license and willingness to travel as needed.
