Indo Autotech Limited is a manufacturer of automotive sheet metal components, welding assemblies, and heavy sheet metal components, supplying to OEMs such as HMSI, MSIL, HCIL, SMIPL, OLA, JCB, Class, CNH, and Escorts Kubota. The company has eight manufacturing plants across India, including locations in Faridabad, Manesar, Tapukara, Bangalore, Jaipur, and Gujarat.
Role Description
This is a full-time on-site Assistant Manager role located in Ahmedabad. The Assistant Manager will be responsible for assisting with the overall operation of the plant, including production planning and control, inventory management, and quality management. The Assistant Manager will also be responsible for managing and leading a team of supervisors and workers, ensuring adherence to safety protocols, and maintaining positive working relationships within the team and with other departments.
Qualifications
- Experience in production planning and control, inventory management, and quality management
- Leadership and management skills, including team management and conflict resolution
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Knowledge of automotive manufacturing processes and machinery
- Experience with Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, and other process improvement methodologies is a plus
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering or related field
