Life Science Consultant, MES Program Manager Location: India
As an MES Program Manager, you will play a pivotal role in defining, planning, and executing MES strategies to optimize our manufacturing operations. You will be responsible for overseeing the entire MES project lifecycle, from inception to completion, to ensure that our systems are aligned with our business goals and drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities: - MES Strategy Development: Define and execute the company's MES strategy, aligning it with overall business objectives.
- Project Planning: Lead the development of comprehensive project plans, including scope, objectives, timelines, and resource allocation.
- Vendor Selection: Evaluate and select MES solution providers, working closely with the procurement team.
- Cross-Functional Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure MES projects are integrated seamlessly with other systems and processes.
- Risk Management: Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize project disruptions.
- Budget Management: Manage the MES program budget, ensuring cost-effectiveness and resource optimization.
- Quality Assurance: Oversee quality control and assurance processes to ensure the successful implementation of MES projects.
- Change Management: Develop and implement change management strategies to ensure a smooth transition to MES solutions.
- Training and Support: Provide training and ongoing support to end-users to maximize the benefits of MES systems.
- Performance Metrics: Establish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of MES projects and regularly report on progress.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate project documentation, including requirements, designs, and implementation details.
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field (Master's degree preferred).
- Experience in the implementation of Critical Manufacturing
- Proven experience as an MES Program Manager or in a similar role.
- Deep understanding of Manufacturing Execution Systems and their application in industrial settings.
- Strong project management skills, including the ability to manage multiple projects concurrently.
- Experience in vendor selection and contract negotiation.
- Exceptional problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams.
- Strong leadership and change management abilities.
- Familiarity with regulatory requirements in manufacturing (e.g., FDA, ISO) is a plus.
