Job description
SUMMARY
Whitesky requires an accountant to manage telecommunications accounts payable including obtaining monthly invoices, entering bills into the GL systems, and reconciling activity and payments.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Obtain, download, and save 400-500 monthly telecom invoices from vendor portals, email or other method
- Log activity for each vendor account in the monthly circuit spreadsheet
- Analyze charges, adjustments and other activity on each vendor bill against contracted amounts, and identify any variances to be escalated to the circuit & accounting teams for investigation
- Enter bills accurately into Whitesky accounting system on a monthly basis
- Reconcile monthly activity for each account and resolve or escalate identified discrepancies
- Assist accounting team with month end close telecom accrual by identifying missing accounts needing accrual
