Job Description: Ophthalmologist We are seeking a skilled and experienced ophthalmologist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for diagnosing and treating eye diseases and injuries, performing surgeries and providing preventative care.
Responsibilities - Conduct comprehensive eye exams to diagnose and treat eye conditions
- Prescribe medication and corrective lenses as needed
- Perform surgical procedures such as cataract removal, LASIK, and corneal transplants
- Provide post-operative care and follow-up to patients
- Educate patients on proper eye care and preventative measures
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals as needed
Requirements - Medical degree from an accredited institution
- Board certification in ophthalmology
- Valid state medical license
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Experience with electronic medical records (EMR) is a plus
