Job description

As the Marketing Manager for India, you will play a pivotal role in driving the marketing strategy, brand awareness, and lead generation efforts for Softcell's Engineering Services Business Unit. You will collaborate closely with the sales, technical & services teams to ensure cohesive and impactful marketing campaigns. The successful candidate will have a proven track record in B2B marketing, especially in the engineering or software industry, and possess excellent strategic thinking, communication, and execution skills.

Responsibilities:

1. Develop and Implement Marketing Strategy:

l Create and execute a comprehensive marketing strategy aligned with business objectives.

l Identify target markets and segments, tailoring strategies for specific customer profiles.

l Utilize a mix of online and offline channels to reach the target audience effectively.

2. Brand Management:

l Build and enhance the brand image of Softcell's Engineering Services Business Unit in the Indian market.

l Ensure consistent messaging across all marketing materials and channels.

l Monitor brand perception and implement strategies for improvement.

3. Content Creation and Marketing Collateral:

l Oversee the creation of compelling and relevant content for various marketing channels.

l Develop marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and case studies.

l Collaborate with the concerned team to ensure messaging aligns with brand guidelines.

4. Digital Marketing:

l Lead digital marketing initiatives, including SEO, SEM, social media, and email campaigns.

l Analyze digital marketing metrics and optimize campaigns for maximum effectiveness.

l Stay updated on industry trends and leverage emerging technologies.

5. Event Planning and Execution:

l Plan and execute industry events, trade shows, and webinars to enhance brand visibility.

l Coordinate with internal teams to ensure seamless event logistics and participation.

6. Market Research:

l Conduct market research to identify trends, competitor activities, and customer needs.

l Provide insights to shape product positioning and marketing strategies.

7. Lead Generation:

l Develop and implement lead generation programs to support sales efforts.

l Work closely with the sales team to align marketing activities with lead conversion goals.

8. Budget Management:

l Manage the marketing budget effectively, ensuring optimal allocation of resources.

l Track and report on the return on investment (ROI) of marketing initiatives.

Qualifications:

l Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field; MBA is a plus.

l 7-10years of relevant work experience.

l Proven experience in B2B marketing, preferably in the engineering or software industry.

l Strong understanding of digital marketing, content creation, and brand management.

l Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

l Analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive marketing decisions.

l Demonstrated success in planning and executing marketing campaigns.

l Familiarity with CRM systems and marketing automation tools.

l Ability to work collaboratively in a cross-functional team environment.
