Job description

1. Billing and Collections: - Manage the billing process, ensuring accuracy and timely invoicing. - Monitor collections and follow up on outstanding payments. - Implement effective strategies to improve the collection cycle and minimize overdue payments.

2. Financial Reporting and MIS: - Prepare and analyze financial statements, reports, and budgets. - Provide timely and accurate financial information to management. - Generate regular management information system (MIS) reports to track key financial metrics.

3. Compliance: - Ensure compliance with accounting principles, regulations, and tax laws. - Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities as required. - Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and implement necessary adjustments.

4. Dealing with International Companies and Payment Gateways : - Manage financial transactions with international companies, including invoicing and payments. - Understand and adhere to US accounting standards and regulations. - Handle foreign company bank accounts and ensure smooth transactions. - Possess working knowledge of international payment gateways and their integration. - Facilitate secure and efficient payment processing for international clients. - Stay updated with emerging trends and technologies in international payment systems.

5.Team Management: - Supervise and mentor a team of 1or 2 accounting professionals. - Assign tasks, monitor performance, and provide guidance as necessary. - Foster a positive work environment and promote teamwork and collaboration.

Qualifications and Experience:
- Postgraduate degree in Accounting, Inter CA, or MBA in Finance. –
Minimum 5 to 6 years of relevant experience in accounting and finance roles. –
Strong knowledge of accounting principles, financial reporting, and taxation. –
Experience in managing billing, collections, and financial compliance. –
Familiarity with QuickBooks Online (QBO) and Zoho accounting software. –
Ability to manage foreign companies and work with a US-based entity. –
Expertise in handling foreign company bank accounts. –
Working knowledge of international payment gateways and integration. –
Proficient in using MS Office applications. –
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with fluency in English.
