Purpose of the role
Do you love working with students and early career professionals As a Campus Talent Acquisition Manager within the General Mills' HR team, you will be responsible for championing day-to-day campus recruiting activities for all functions in GIC.This includes early career full-lifecycle recruitment for both fulltime hires and internship positions and attracting, assessing, and securing the best and most talented students from across India. You will be responsible for building and growing relationships with key external/internal stakeholders, business partners, universities, and colleagues in Talent Acquisition and the HR space. As a TA Manager you will be passionate about keeping up on top of trends and innovative recruiting techniques that enable us to be best in class recruiting team.
Key Accountabilities
- Define, develop, implement, and execute a 'best in class' campus recruiting strategy to include technology, social media, employment branding, etc. to meet stated hiring goals and business needs.
- Own full-lifecycle recruitment across multiple functions (full-time and intern),building the talent pipeline screening, on-site interviews, hiring, and maintaining positive candidate relationships.
- Ensure campus strategy delivers the best experience for candidates, campus, university, and academic stakeholders, HR, talent acquisition team members, and our business leaders.
- Partner with the business to help forecast upcoming graduate and intern hiring needs.
- Bring synergies across different functions towards similar education stream hiring & represent one General Mills India as employer of choice.
- Collaborate with General Mills HQ & understand best practices in early career programme which can be considered for General Mills India.
- Build equity with key stakeholders: candidates, professors, student groups, vendor partners, hiring managers, talent acquisition and HR partners, and counterparts at other companies.
- Develops and participates in all activities such as presentations, career fairs, information sessions, office and on-campus interviews, career services events/etc.
- Create an amazing candidate experience through communication, touchpoints, and networking.
- Serve as an advisor to our business leaders to advise them of trends, events, benchmarking, and best practices using data, benchmarking, and other factors to ensure the right direction and decisions are made for the university space.
- Track goals, metrics and performance for the hiring cycle regularly communicating status and results to key business partners and stakeholders.
- Design and facilitate summer/winter internship experience from orientation to full-time candidate conversion, including manager trainings, mid-point reviews and final presentations.
- Design differential offerings as per the education stream which are hired for different job profiles.
- Act as a resource to interns throughout their internship, including on-boarding, performance evaluation, and offer process.
- Project work - lead strategic initiatives and varied function projects on campus apart from organization level central campus programme.
- Strong knowledge of General Mills and its functions in India.
Minimum Qualifications
- Master's degree in HR or related field
- Ability to execute campus recruiting strategy, including employer promotion on campus and virtually, candidate management, diversity sourcing and interview process management.
- Campus recruiting experience of 8-10 years including sourcing, assessment, networking, job analysis and attracting and recruiting diverse graduates & postgraduates across India.
- Strong client service skills: positive, pro-active, and team-oriented professionalism, self-insight, and perseverance
- Strong credible influence & equity building, and sound judgement required.
- Strong written and verbal communicationskills
- Detail-orien ted and highly organized, experience working on campus projects with multiple stakeholders.
- Experience partnering with hiring managers, interviewers, team members and universities.
- A desire to continuously improve the way we hire, and eager to discover others in the industry who are improving candidate experience.
- Ability to influence and manage college/ institutes executives and students. Data-driven and strong experience with analysis and reporting
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
- Adaptable. Always looking to try new things and welcome feedback about your work.
- Ability to travel as needed up to 50% + during peak recruitment cycles (July- Oct)
