• Conduct manual testing when required and build an Engineer solid, reliable automated tests that are considered as reliable as production code.

• Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements, and design test coverage plan and also participate in code review.

• Develop, document, and maintain automated regression tests and isolate, replicate, and report defects and verify defect fixes.

• Should be able to disseminate automation skills and experience to the development team and wider business.

• Work closely with the development team, and stakeholders to understand and document the requirements and business needs of the applications being developed.

• You will be involved in software/website testing with significant automation testing experience.

SKILLS / COMPETENCIES

• 4+ years experience in JavaScript for Scripting and UI Automation Script.

• Strong experience in working with Protractor/Mocha/Jasmine.

• Hands-on experience in API Automation testing using any tools.

• Should have experience working on Regression Testing

• Should have working knowledge of Bitbucket.

• Familiarity with Agile testing processes

• Ability to write tests in modern JavaScript testing frameworks

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE ROLE

• Clear communicator (written and verbal) to ensure ability to write test plans and test cases and to communicate bugs to developers and other stakeholders.

• Should have good judgement and decision-making skills; responsible and motivated; passionate about learning new things.

• Solid Automated testing experience in BDD for building Automated frameworks

• The ability to build automation frameworks from scratch and being confident to manage all aspects of the framework

• Exposure to/working knowledge of the Scrum Methodology

• 4+ years experience in JavaScript for Scripting and UI Automation Script

• Experience in API Automation testing using any tools

• Should have experience working on Regression Testing and Bitbucket

• Ability to write tests in modern JavaScript testing frameworks
