Job description
1) Oversees functions of the monthly, quarterly and annual book close cycles, monitoring timely completion and escalating issues for resolution.
2) Review complex journals, reconciliations, draft financial statements and other reports.
3) In-depth knowledge of Technical Accounting and insurance expertise.
4) Leads or actively participates in increasingly complex department projects and continuous improvement activities.
5) Communicates effectively with other units and management to plan work, gather information, and present results.
6) Excellent Communication/interpersonal skills
7) Proficient in Oracle/SAP/Blackline.
8) Strong understanding of Insurance markets and GAAP & STAT standards.
