Job description
A leading swimming facility in Bangalore is urgently looking for a ' Swim Teacher ' to join their team.
Qualification & Experience:
• Must have completed II PU, in addition to this, completion of Graduation or equivalent qualification is desired
• Must have completed Austswim TSW course
• Valid certification of First Aid, CPR, AED
• Minimum of 2 years of work experience as Asst. Swim Teacher Or 1 year as Swim Teacher
• Good track record w.r.t. parents' feedback, swimmer passing ratio and punctuality.
Competencies:
• Optimum Swimming competency and fitness
• Should be able to formulate and deliver lesson plans
• Should be able to effectively communicate with Swimmers & all the other stakeholders.
• Should be able to demonstrate excellent competency in aquatic skills and knowledge
• Ability to promote learning through creativity and fun
Broad Areas covered by the job:
• Adheres to the lesson plans
• Ensures safety of all swimmers while teaching
• Conducts teaching sessions as per the Austwim competencies.
• Establishes learning environment for swimmers
• Establishes and maintains effective communication with swimmers
• Adheres to the class timings
• Maintains the right degree of socialisation
• Maintains optimum personal hygiene
• Extends support during crisis
• Handles any other responsibilities assigned by the supervisor.
Relationships with others:
• The job holder maintains a smooth working relationship with all other swim teachers, coaches, administrative staff, and parents
