Job description
Responsibilities & Accountabilities
· Providing on-time design inputs to proposal team
· Prioritizing & planning of work as per sales requirements
· Liaise with the engineering, projects, sales and proposal team to assure appropriate system designs.
· Undertaking site measurements and confirming system design interface points
· Contribute to and lead improvements on design and equipment standardization.
· Contribute to research and development projects.
· Innovation
o Work with other team members to build standards, libraries, content centers.
o Create standard design calculation/drawing templates.
· Ontime escalation of challenges & issues
· Managing the team & maintaining the departmental efficiency level over 90%
· Positive feedback from clients & stakeholders
Key Performance Indicators
Ø Maintain and meet design milestones as per sales & project schedule.
Ø Reduction of design time.
Ø Reduction of fabrication cost and time.
Ø Number of NCRs received.
Ø Coordination with other Internal & External stakeholders.
Ø Implement or introduce innovative designs.
Position Requirement/Qualification:
· Candidate must be qualified Mechanical Engineer with more than 10 years of Experience in similar industry
· Candidate with Post graduation will be added advantage
· Experience in working with CAD software and design software are must
· Good communication and presentation skills
· Must be able to manage a Team
