As a Manager within IT PMO, you are charged with leading large cross-functional technology initiatives. Partnering with business partners to drive the technology components for IT, you will oversee all aspects of project information including timelines, budgets, resource allocation, scope, and definition, and provide oversight of a global portfolio of projects. In addition, you will also be developing, deploying, and maintaining key vendor management, procurement, and vendor evaluation processes for vendors used within the CIO organization for various services and tools. Program Management Leadership Oversee a portfolio and act as a liaison between business teams and IT teams to ensure that the business requirements are complete to meet the proposed solutions. Work with IT leads to define and manage business processes and technology roadmaps in support of long-term divisional strategies. Manage complex projects to major milestones. Develop project justification proposals, business cases and return on investment estimates; obtain executive approval and funding. Develop and maintain key project governance documentation to ensure the proper amount of structure is applied to enable project success. Facilitate project-related testing, roll-out, and post-mortem work. Provide timely updates and elevate critical risks to the project, management, and senior executive teams. Experience planning, managing, and delivering medium (6-8 months) to large (8-12 months) projects Proficient knowledge of the systems implementation and development life cycles Excellent communication across project and management teams Excellent leadership skills that enhance project team effectiveness Excellent organizational and documentation skills A proven ability to influence and collaborate across all levels of the organization Strong writing and communication skills Ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment vendor Management Process Leadership Create vendor evaluation and onboarding process, that includes interfacing with security, legal and procurement teams. Efficiently onboard vendors within tight SLA's Manage a resource for contract renewals, alerting and working with various teams Identify and solve for evolving gaps and emerging needs in skills, process capabilities, and capacity to support sustained long-term business growth Design and implement balanced scorecards/ dashboards to report on portfolios, projects, vendors, and financials. Translate benchmarking results and new/best practices to the IT organization Requirements Overall 12+ years of IT experience with 8 years experience as a software project manager with experience leading large and complex cross-functional projects 3 years leading projects in Business Applications or SaaS-based Business Applications Bachelor's degree Tolerant of ambiguity and the flexibility to work well in a fast-paced environment with evolving priorities Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral) Strong organizational planning skills and understanding of portfolio management concepts Effective problem-solving skills with an ability to identify issues and resolve, or identify the internal resources to assistJob tags
