Job description
Position Overview
The Business Analyst / Product Owner will serve as a vital link between our business objectives and technology capabilities. He will define requirements, prioritize features, and ensure that the development team delivers high-quality software solutions aligned with customer and business needs.
Responsibilities
- Collaborate with stakeholders to define and prioritize business requirements.
- Develop user stories and acceptance criteria to guide product development.
- Act as a liaison between business and technical teams, fostering effective communication.
- Perform data analytics to measure feature effectiveness and suggest improvements.
- Create and manage the product backlog, prioritizing items based on business value and ROI.
- Lead Agile ceremonies like sprint planning, daily stand-ups, and sprint reviews.
- Ensure the testing and rollout of new features meet quality and performance benchmarks.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, or a related field.
- A minimum of 3 years of experience in a business analysis or product owner role.
- Strong experience in software products, web applications and architecture, and mobile applications.
- Familiarity with Agile methodologies, especially Scrum.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
Preferred Skills
- Experience with user-interface design (UI & UX).
- Prior experience in the trucking and transportation industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, CRM, and complex software setup and configuration.
