Description"The client is one of the largest banks in the Netherlands and has implemented Murex 3.1 for the FX Options business. The Murex technical support team is responsible for 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line technical support: handle all user queries, resolve production incidents, and investigate and structurally solve the root cause of incidents. Further, the team participates in long-term bank initiatives to increase its trading platforms' stability and agility and reduce operational risk.\nMurex is used 24 X 7. A team in Singapore takes care of the support during the Asia timezone. The team in Amsterdam handles support outside the Asia time zone."
Skills"This role requires an individual with exceptional hands-on technical skills across a range of disciplines, as well as stakeholder and team management skills. Leads by example and is accountable for delivering operational excellence.\n- Minimum of 5 years experience in Bank IT and Murex Technical Support\n- Murex technical architecture (launchers, services, resilience\/failover, housekeeping ..)\n- L2\/ L3 support experience with outstanding technical analytical skills\n- Superior Communication and stakeholder management\n- Good knowledge of SQL\n- Oracle DB knowledge\n- Good knowledge of Linux\n- Agree to work on standby\/ weekend and on a shift rotation basis"
Responsibilities"The Murex technical support team is responsible for\n- 1st, 2nd, and 3rd line technical support\n- Monitoring of the EOD batch process\n- Automation (automatic deployment and testing)\n- Housekeeping (purging)\n- Infra-related changes (firewall, etc)\n- Handles all questions & incidents, and structurally resolves the root cause of incidents."
