Job description

Responsibilities & Key Deliverables

Knowledge in Engine assembly & Engine Testing production system
Effectively lead, coach and develop a work team to accomplish operational objectives.
Ensure adherence to Volume wise & Model wise Production.
Carry out PQCDSM activities of Department.
Ensure planning and allocation of workmen as per skill matrix for achieving day to day production, absenteeism as well as c. off plan.
Analysis of quality concerns – Root cause / ICA / PCA for internal as well as external concerns
Time Study (MOST) analysis along with industrial engineering department to increase productivity.                         
Focus on Quality improvement through Poke- Yoke/ FMEA/Kaizens/pick to light.
Organizing 7Q.C tool, 5S, JH & TPM as well as TOS activities continuously.
Sharing knowledge & information with others through "One Point Lessons" & in morning meeting.
To avoid unconformities such as material shortage & unavailability communicates with respective functions.            
Daily Reports generation like production , Declaration , OLE , Absenteeism…etc
LO & OPL Submission in case of any quality issue.
Maintaining the entire document related to assembly line such as SOP sheets ,training skill matrix, check sheet. Material consumption, Attendance, FG, production & rejection trends etc.
Following Layer process audit regularly.
Responsible for making OJT plan (ON JOB TRAINING) to develop the skill matrix of operators, Leave & shift planner for associates.
