Job Description
- Utilize monitoring tools such as Azure Application Insights, Dynatrace, Datadog, or New Relic to proactively monitor cloud resources and applications.
- Work with log analysis tools like Azure Monitor, Splunk, or Kibana to analyze logs and identify issues.
- Collaborate with the team to ensure that CI/CD pipelines using Bamboo, Jenkins, and GitHub are functioning effectively.
- Assist in incident and problem management, including identification, resolution, and documentation of incidents.
- Apply technical support expertise to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
- Demonstrate strong analytical skills to isolate root causes and implement solutions.
- Communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing, to convey technical information and updates.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the reliability and performance of cloud-based services.
- Stay current with industry best practices and certifications related to cloud monitoring and infrastructure.
The Successful Applicant
- Mandatory:
- Experience with at least one of the following monitoring tools: Azure Application Insights, Dynatrace, Datadog, New Relic, etc.
- Familiarity with at least one of the log analysis tools: Azure Monitor, Splunk, Kibana, etc.
- Basic knowledge of CI/CD tools such as Bamboo, Jenkins, and GitHub.
- Familiarity with incident and problem management processes.
- Minimum of 1 year of technical support expertise.
- Strong troubleshooting skills and the ability to address complex technical issues.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
- Preferred (Certifications):
- Microsoft Certified: Azure Fundamentals - Exam AZ-900 (very good).
- AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner (CLF-C01).
- GCP Foundational certification.
