Responsible for managing Customer

IBM iSeries/AS400

infrastructure

from offshore , Providing L3 support for

iSeries/AS400

operating system versions: V7R3, V7R4 & V7R5. Ability to

provide

support on

HMC Management,

EMC DD (VTL) , BRMS, ROBOT Console & MIMIX.

Essential:

· Minimum 8 to 12 years of IT experience · Atleast 6 years hands-on experience in IBM AS400 Administration · Experience in iSeries Server Administration. · Experience in migration and OS upgrades · Experience in Installation, configuration, Backup & Recovery HMC management and Trouble Shooting · Experience in MIMIX Installation, configuration, and Trouble Shooting · Good experience in High Availability and Clustering solutions. · Good L3 support in AS400 Administration · Good Experience in Capacity planning and performance tuning · Good experience in managing/supporting customer environment from remotely · Excellence in delivery, customer-interaction, written and verbal communication · Ability to work on 24/7 shifts · Familiar with ITIL process models
