Tygerella is Looking for: Magik Programming Developer We are looking for a Senior Smallworld Developer with proven expertise in Magik programming to contribute to the design, development, and maintenance of our geospatial solutions. The ideal candidate will have a passion for solving complex problems, a strong background in Smallworld GIS, and a track record of successful project delivery.
Responsibilities: - Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and develop robust Smallworld GIS applications.
- Code, test, debug, and implement Magik scripts to enhance system functionality.
- Perform system analysis and troubleshooting to identify and resolve issues.
- Work closely with clients to understand their requirements and provide customized solutions.
- Keep abreast of industry trends and advancements to contribute to continuous improvement.
This Role Requires: Qualifications: - A qualification in Information Technology, or a related field.
- 2 years of Proven experience as a Smallworld Developer with expertise in Magik programming.
- Strong understanding of geospatial concepts and Smallworld GIS.
- Experience in the full software development life cycle, from design to deployment.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate with team members and clients.
Preferred Skills: - Familiarity with Smallworld Core Spatial Technology (CST) modules, especially S/W430.
- Experience working on geospatial projects.
- Knowledge of database management systems, especially in a GIS context.'
